Needle Stop - great spot to park your needles for quick accessibility

I cut one piece of wool 4 1/8 x 5 1/8 or 10.5 cm x 13 cm. You can take a few circles and whip stitch down onto needle stop piece. Then have fun embellish with your favourite stitches.

Whip stitch your needle stop pad covering up the pocket inside your wallet. Position the pad so that you are whip stitching the wool under the zipper. Whip stitch around three sides and stop. Leave open one end so you can add a small amount of scrap batting to pad your needle stop. Finish by whip stitching your final side closed. If you find that you can see your whip stitches. You can choose to couch threads over all four edges of the needle stop. You now have one zippered pocket that is covered and private. You can slip in a few dollars and credit card.

I saw that each zipper had a 1/4 machine stitched binding. I decided this was another area I could add some embellishment. I stitched down (4) 1/4 inch pieces of ribbon to add a touch of colours to the inside.

Your Yazzii wallet now is yours. Fill it with all the things you carry when stitching. Cash, credit card, needle threader, needles, small scissors, pins, clips.
